I have been feeding BB to various breeds over the years, including an Aussie, a Rottweiler, a Shepherd mix, and now a dachshund mix. I feed less than the recommended amount and my Shepherd mix lived to be 17 years old!

I have a big, elderly dog with several allergies and stomach issues. While he enjoys the canned beef Blue Buffalo, I find it messy and it leaves a bad smell in his mouth. I decided to try the dry beef version instead, but he refuses to eat it unless I make gravy to pour over it. I am unsure if he likes the smell or the ingredients in it. Please note that this review reflects my dog’s preferences!

My Chiweenie is very selective about his food and prefers the beef flavor over chicken. I appreciate that I can’t find this product in stores, so I’m thankful for Amazon. The self-closed bag is convenient as my dog won’t eat old or stale food. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my order as my dog got very sick and passed away. He enjoyed this food, and I will be returning the unopened bag. Thank you, Amazon.

I accidentally purchased Blue Buffalo with grains which caused my dog to have soft stools and accidents. Switching to the grain-free option made a huge difference – my dog loves it and her digestive system is back to normal.

Most “grain-free” dog foods tend to cause gas in my dogs. However, I am pleased to say that this particular product does not have that effect on them. What’s more, they eat it willingly without needing any additional broth or meats added.

Our dog is like a baby to us, my husband even considers him his first son. We chose this product because it contains all the ingredients we prefer and none of the ones we avoid. Our dog is quite picky, but he loves this food.
