I have been giving my Siberian Husky the regular Bully tablets for some time now, as she suffers from muscle atrophy due to an old cranial cruciate ligament injury. Since she is not able to exercise like before, she requires a high protein diet to maintain her muscle mass. The Bully tablets have been incredibly effective in this regard, but she does not always enjoy taking them in pill form. Therefore, I decided to try these chews instead. I am unable to determine if I have a preference for this product, however, my dog did not eat them. Based on my observation, it seems effective for muscle building as my neighbor’s dog showed signs of growth while being fed these treats.

Three out of my four dogs refused to even accept these treats from my hand. They turned their noses up and walked away, which is unusual behavior for them as they never turn down food. The fourth dog ate the treats but without much enthusiasm. Two days later, he became very ill and needed veterinary care for severe gastrointestinal issues, taking three days to fully recover. Update: I’ve found that by mixing these chews into my dog’s canned food, he has no problem eating them now, although he doesn’t enjoy them as standalone treats. I’ve increased my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars because I’ve noticed that they do help improve his energy and strength levels, even though they’re not marketed as energy supplements. I can see a difference in his stability when he’s not taking them – he’s more steady on his feet when he’s on them, so I plan to continue using them….
