I adopted a pit mix with a short coat who easily gets cold. This jacket has been a lifesaver for him, keeping him comfortable and dry even in the rain. The pockets are a nice touch for carrying items, like his poop bags for walks. The only downside is that the large size is a bit too big for my 50lb dog in the chest area, although the length is just right. Sizing down to a medium would have been too small.

I am impressed with the excellent quality and ideal fit of these dog coats! I purchased the Large size in Deep Wine for my 70lb lab mix and the Medium size in Orange for my 42lb Cattle dog mix. The coats are very adjustable, ensuring a comfortable fit for both my furry friends. I am confident that they will stay nice and warm throughout the summer.

I purchased the small size for my Jack Russell Terrier, and it fits him perfectly. He looks great in it and it’s very easy to put on and take off. The coat stays in place well – my little guy has been running through bushes with it on. The quality is excellent, with solid construction. It’s a quilted Chore coat, warm enough for fall on its own but may need an extra layer for colder temperatures. While I haven’t tested it in heavy rain, it seems reasonably water-resistant like other waxed…

The Carhart jacket is of excellent quality with a stylish camo design. It effectively keeps my 120 lb malinois, Bubba, warm and dry while he works hard. It is easy to attach and does not restrict his movement. Despite his vigorous activities, the jacket shows no signs of wear or damage. It also allows room for Bubba’s continued growth.

This product is exactly what you need! I highly recommend it. The only issue is that the large size is too big, while the medium size is significantly smaller. The sizes should be more clearly labeled or the large size should be renamed extra large. Also, the large size is much longer than the medium size. Despite these issues, I would still recommend buying this jacket. It is of good quality and one of the best I’ve purchased among several others.

I purchased this product for my black lab to wear in rainy or cold weather. It is easy to put on and secure, although my dog’s constant tail wagging can make it a bit tricky! The fit is perfect and the quality, as expected from Carhartt, is excellent. The tough fabric used is the same as their durable jackets for humans. My dog gets super excited when she sees me grabbing it, which is a stark contrast to her reaction to other jackets. It doesn’t hinder her movement when she’s playing fetch….
