This product is made of extremely hard plastic that slowly chips away as adult dogs chew on it. My puppies couldn’t chew on it with their baby teeth because the exterior is very hard while the interior is soft. They have to reach the outside layer before they can chew on the softer material. I find these bones to be the perfect choice for my 75 lb goldendoodle. They are incredibly durable and my dog cannot chew through them. The nubs on the bones also serve as a great teeth cleaner. They keep my dog entertained for at least half an hour.
