I will need to return this product. I was excited for my dog to use it, but unfortunately, I have been unable to assemble it despite multiple attempts. Even with the help of another person, we couldn’t get the pieces to meet. It seems like there may be a defect, possibly the cover being too small, as nothing seems to fit properly. I have even injured my shoulder trying to force the pieces together.

I had initial concerns about the size of this product, as it is rated for up to 100 pounds and my dog Nessie weighs about 125 pounds. However, upon receiving it, Nessie had plenty of space on the bed as shown in the picture above. The cover is durable and the nutmeg color looks beautiful in our motorhome. I initially thought my pet would never sleep in it, but on the very first day, he loved snuggling on it. At first, I had to coax him with his favorite mat, but as time goes by, he has become quite attached to his new bed. He refuses to lie down until he has his collar on, becoming a bit picky about his sleeping arrangements. Overall, he seems quite content and cozy in his new spot.

I bought 2 Coolaroo dog beds and I’m extremely pleased with them. They have been beneficial in reducing stiffness for my older dogs, to the point where my vet was impressed with how well my 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer was moving during his recent check-up. While they are easy to maintain, assembling them can be challenging and required the help of 2 adults. However, despite the initial difficulty, they have proven to be durable and my dogs love using them, making the effort worthwhile.
