The insert doesn’t fit the bowl properly. While it does slow down my pet’s feeding, she still manages to tip it over to access the remaining food. I had hoped the design would be better matched to the bowl size, so I’m quite disappointed with it.

I found these puppy bowls to be excellent. When we first brought our boy home, he was quite clumsy, but these bowls really helped minimize the mess. They are durable and he continues to use them now that he is an older puppy. Overall, a high-quality product.

I purchased the 18oz slow feeder for my 7-month-old Golden Retriever who had outgrown her smaller puppy dishes. I appreciate that it includes (2) 18oz metal bowls and a slow feeder insert. However, the slow feeder insert can only hold about 1.5 cups of kibble, which is not sufficient for my dog. I wish there was a larger size option for the slow feeder.
