My dog adores this bone! I opt for the medium size since she is a Shih Tzu terrier mix and has managed to destroy every toy she’s had – except for this one. It’s incredibly durable as it has never broken apart, despite her attempts to chew small pieces off. We gave her the first one when she was around a year old, and we only had to buy a second one because we misplaced the first.

My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer, and so far the only toy that has lasted more than a day without getting destroyed is the hard Nylabones. Unfortunately, even with the Nylabones, he managed to rip off a corner and start chewing on the hard plastic inside within just 30 minutes of receiving it on February 6. This product was very disappointing. While it provided 2 hours of fun initially, it quickly fell apart, leaving bits scattered all over the floor and the core damaged. Despite the brief enjoyment, I can only give it 2 stars.

Nylon bones are not ideal for dogs with a strong bite, as they can end up hurting or even breaking the animal’s teeth. The ideal toy for chewing is one that, when you test it by squeezing it with your thumb, it sinks a few millimeters. This imperceptible flexibility makes all the difference, and that’s what this Kong product offers. The dog loves it and will be entertained satisfactorily, you can bet on it. I bought this product for my 9-month-old yellow lab, but it was quickly destroyed within 10 minutes of giving it to him. The rubber bone had large chunks chewed off the ends, despite being advertised for aggressive chewers. I do not recommend this item for medium to large dogs that are aggressive chewers, as it did not hold up well and felt like a waste of money.

This product has been a lifesaver for my teething puppy. Instead of chewing on my furniture and fingers, she now happily chomps on this bone whenever I catch her going for something she shouldn’t. She absolutely loves it! I will provide an update on its durability in a future post, but it seems very sturdy so far.

We just got our second one within 13 months. Our puppy absolutely adores this chew bone more than any other ones we’ve tested. After 13 months, she was starting to peel off the light green end, so we decided it was time for a replacement. It arrived today, and once she saw it being taken out of the Amazon package, she was thrilled with tail-wagging joy. A fantastic toy for a chewer! Our 14-pound dog fits perfectly with the small bone size.
