Great for dogs who love to chew vigorously
I was shocked how hard this toy was when my large breed dog was chewing on it and playing with it. It sounded to me like it could be injuring her teeth so I took it away and returned.. however Amazon has been very Cooperative in this matter –
Dixie absolutely adores her new bacon-flavored giant bone. She brings it with her everywhere and it’s not messy at all – plus it smells delicious like bacon. I will definitely be purchasing more. I feel reassured knowing she has this bone, as I’ve had concerns about her swallowing bones in the past due to her size. At 243 lbs, this bone will keep her occupied and away from snacking. Haha!

It is very durable, but not suitable for trying to take it away from your dog as it is too hard. I think it could potentially damage their teeth if I were to tug on it with my smaller dog. Also, it appears smaller than it looks in the photo.

I found this bone to be a fantastic value for its size and durability. My Heeler is a heavy chewer and usually destroys his toys, but this bone has kept him occupied when he’s bored. The bacon scent in the middle seems to be a big hit with him as he’s constantly sniffing that part.
