I really like the idea of a slip lead. It’s much easier to slide a loop over the dog’s head than to attach a conventional lead to a collar ring. It provides good control over the dog. My only issue is that the slip lead is quite stiff when new, but it becomes softer with use.

Functions well. The rope is slightly stiff, but I expect it will loosen over time with use. I must note that the instructional videos on how to use this leash are largely inadequate. Many demonstrate the leash being placed around the dog’s neck, which is a serious mistake. Instead, it should be positioned snugly around the head just behind the ears and kept in place using the black slider to ensure a secure fit.
