The size of this product is perfect for Mia, our miniature Labradoodle. Despite being nearly 4 years old and typically destroying most toys, the Kong toys have proven to be durable and she really enjoys playing with them. Although they are on the pricier side, they are definitely worth the investment as they last four times longer with Mia, making them a great value for money.

I had previously purchased Hippo toys for my dog and they were a hit. However, this particular one had a hard core and the squeaker was positioned awkwardly on the side of the chest, making it difficult to squeak. Additionally, the material covering the chest of the Hippo was different from previous ones. Overall, I would not reorder this toy.

This product is extremely durable! Although the squeaker is a bit small and not easily accessible, it has remained intact with no holes forming after 2 months of use. The toy is filled with ropes, resulting in minimal stuffing that dogs often spread around the house. It’s worth noting that I have both a full-grown Great Dane and a Dane mix puppy with puppy teeth, and neither have been overly destructive with this toy. If your dog tends to destroy toys quickly, this may not be durable enough…

My 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy loves this product. When he was younger, he had the smaller version, but this size is perfect for him now. He immediately chewed off the ears, as I expected. I appreciate that there’s no tail for him to chew on. So far, after a week, he hasn’t destroyed it, and he enjoys chewing on the rope parts.

I have mixed feelings about this product! I have two French Bulldogs at home who love to destroy things. It is durable, except for the head which didn’t last long. The head is filled with synthetic stuffing, making it easier to destroy, especially around the ears. Knowing my dogs well, I’m not too disappointed with the product because toys like this don’t last long with them. I found this toy to be great for my dog Buddy due to the sturdy intertwined roping design. The colorful knotted rope makes the toy durable and perfect for chewing. The only issue was that Buddy managed to rip out the stuffing from the Hippo’s face, but that didn’t deter his enjoyment of the toy. He continues to love playing with it and chew on it until he’s ready for more. Overall, he absolutely loves this toy!

This dog toy is extremely durable and well-made. My puppy enjoys playing tug-of-war with it on the play rug and it has not ripped at all. I highly recommend it.
