I would not recommend this toy for dogs over 10 pounds or even for smaller dogs. The green pieces are sharp and break off easily, causing injury when stepped on. I discovered this the hard way when it made my foot bleed. I am concerned about the potential harm it could cause to a dog’s stomach. There are plenty of other chew toys available, so I advise against choosing this particular one.

This chew toy is fantastic for dogs of all sizes, from big to small! Both my Dobermans and Australian Shepherd/Collie mix love to chew on these constantly. Even our pair of small Poodle mixes enjoy them. The only downside is that the Dobermans chew so vigorously that a small amount of plastic comes off onto the floor. They don’t consume it, they simply spit it out. Nevertheless, these toys keep them entertained for hours on end.
