The new cans now have a different opening mechanism that doesn’t require a can opener. I preferred using a can opener because it allowed me to effortlessly pour out the contents and divide it into three portions for each of my dogs’ meals. With the new design, I have to scoop it all out at once, which makes it less convenient to split into portions.
