The game is well made, but unfortunately my dog is scared of the fake barking it emits. I will try to have him use it without the movement mechanism, treating it as a plush toy instead.

I hate to write a negative review, but this product really disappointed me. The package arrived undamaged and the toy was easy to open, with a pull tab to activate the features. While my 80-pound dog loved the toy, the loud and unnatural barking noise it made quickly became unbearable for the humans in the house. The mechanical ball responsible for the noise was encased in a realistic-looking squirrel tail, but the vibrations on our hardwood floor were extremely loud. The toy stopped working…

I first received one of these toys in a Bark box years ago for my first dog, and he absolutely adored it. Now that I have two puppies, I bought another one for them and they enjoy it just as much. Definitely worth buying again!

The toy is too tight on my dog’s neck, but it has a lot of room for improvement. In the video, my miniature dachshund is in full animalistic mode. The fabric sleeve that comes with the toy is too flimsy for my dachshund, so I turned it into a game by cutting up snacks and spreading them on a piece of fabric. My dog absolutely adores this toy! It keeps her entertained for a good amount of time on her own. I discovered an extra element of fun by hiding it under a blanket for her to uncover. The only downside is that I had to trim the toy’s fur because it sheds quite easily, and I wanted to prevent my dog from ingesting too much plastic hair.
