My large German Shepherd thoroughly enjoys playing with the various sizes of Jolly Balls. These balls are durable and withstand his aggressive chewing, although they are not as strong as Kong rubber. I find myself spending a lot of time kicking the balls for him to play with. The 10″ size is more challenging to kick, the 6″ size is the easiest, and the 8″ size is typically our preferred size for the Jolly Ball.

My dog Rocky is obsessed with his Jolly Ball. He plays with it in various ways – chasing, tossing, kicking, and biting it. The ball is made of a soft, rubbery material and has held up well despite showing some wear and tear from Rocky’s rough play. Despite this, I plan to purchase another one when needed. I appreciate the handle for easy throwing, as my dog likes to pick it up and bring it back with the handle facing me. Our dogs absolutely adore their jolly balls! We’ve had our original one for four dogs now, and it’s still going strong, which is truly impressive. These balls are incredibly durable, they float in water, and are delightfully bouncy. Initially, there was a strange smell, but it disappeared quickly. I purchased this ball for my growing mastiff puppy, who currently weighs around 120 pounds. It’s the perfect size for him to grab onto the handle and run around with it. He adores playing fetch with this ball, and it keeps him entertained for hours. In comparison, our smaller dog’s ball didn’t work as effectively because it was too small to capture his interest. This ball is incredibly durable and suitable for outdoor play, although I wouldn’t recommend it as a chew toy.

My German Shepherd absolutely loves this toy, carrying it around the property and even knowing to leave it in the garage. He enjoys chomping on it, tossing it, or nudging it with his nose. However, the toy’s durability is lacking as it tends to collapse when he chews a big hole into it every couple of months. Once a small hole forms, he gradually destroys it. These dog toys have truly transformed playtime for our lab pit mix! Our dog is a heavy chewer and easily destroys other dog balls, but the Jolly Pets soccer ball has lasted over 2 years with just a small hole.
