8 reviews for Large Magnetic Dog Door for Pets

    1. Kevin Baker

The hard plastic door is not suitable for dogs and hurts their noses. Both of my rescue dogs refuse to use it.

    2. Lyle Kinnamon

This product is not recommended for long-term use as it lacks clear instructions and includes extra parts that are not even depicted. The door is problematic as it falls out easily when the dog hits it in the center, even after multiple attempts at reinstalling. I had to make modifications by adding hinges to keep it attached, but even then, the magnets popped out and got lost as the door was dragged around the yard. The amount of time spent on adjusting, repairing, and installing the door…

    3. Wired Fuzzy

I believe this dog door is well-made and lightweight, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in protected areas. The frame is constructed from plastic, but in my experience living in Southern Arizona, exposure to the sun can cause thinner hard plastic to deteriorate quickly. I am concerned about its durability in direct sunlight, but it may be suitable for use under a patio door with an awning. I was expecting a flexible door, so it didn’t meet my specific needs, but I know someone who…

    4. Leatrice Hancock

The door is larger than my standard one, which was not a drawback. It’s a nice little door.

    5. Carly

I strongly recommend this product if you have long dogs. I have a poodle and he easily slides through the door with this product.

    6. melinda grimm

The dog door securely clicks into place and opens effortlessly.

    7. Beverly

The plastic entryway is not seamless for the dog to push through. It is made of hard plastic instead of the softer material we prefer. Some air can pass through, akin to leaving a door slightly cracked at home, allowing AC or heat to escape.

    8. krystle

While it can be a bit difficult to install, this product has proven to be very durable over time, even with two large (and occasionally one very large) dogs.
