My dog has loved this toy since she was a puppy. She has both sizes and enjoys them equally. She is an 8-pound Yorkie and has never chewed through the material. However, larger dogs with more aggressive bites might be able to rip it apart. The squeaker can be quite annoying, but that’s exactly what my dog loves about this toy!

I want to acknowledge the product’s good qualities, but it’s not suitable for dogs that like to chew things. My parents’ dog has been enjoying this toy for about 7 months, so I decided to get it for my dog. My 30-pound Cockapoo absolutely adores this squeaky monkey toy. I am amazed that he hasn’t destroyed it yet, as his first one lasted around a year. The only reason it tore was because we were playing tug with it in the cold winter weather, which may have made it more susceptible to damage. I was frantically searching for a replacement and thankfully found it on Amazon just in time. I keep it as an outdoor toy to discourage him from chewing on it, and he mostly enjoys running around with it…

This toy initially provided hours of energetic playtime and fun. However, after just two days, the squeaker stopped working due to my dog’s sharp teeth. As a result, my dogs lost interest in the toy. I really like the toy overall, but it is not durable against sharp teeth. I wish it was made a bit thicker to withstand more wear and tear.
