This doggie door is functional overall, but the lack of a channel to secure the rubber gasket is a major flaw. As a result, water can seep behind the frame during rainy weather, potentially causing damage to the door. I had to improvise by using Elmer’s glue to keep the gasket in place, which was a hassle. The plastic pieces meant to conceal the installation cuts are effective but can be challenging to install. Overall, I would not recommend purchasing this product again.

We purchased this product because our patient had a large older cat that struggled with traditional kitty doors. The only issue we encountered was that the side pieces were a bit challenging to install, possibly due to the door not being a standard size. However, overall, the product worked fantastically in terms of functionality!

My 64-year-old mother managed to install this product on her own using a Dremel tool. The end result looks like it was done by a professional! Even our dog quickly figured it out.
