After finding the foam padding around the loop handle uncomfortable on this leash, I decided to remove it, and now it feels much more comfortable and functions well. The leash is a suitable width and weight for my 11 lb. chihuahua mix. The foam padding around the handle had started tearing on its own, so I removed it completely, resulting in a significant improvement since it was bothering me initially.

I find rope leashes to be more comfortable for walking large dogs compared to flat leashes. They hold up better over time and are easier to wash. I recently switched to a 1/4 inch rope leash for my small Lhasa Apso pug mix and noticed a significant improvement in control and comfort. I do not recommend this product. The tires do not stay in place, and most importantly, if the dog pulls while walking, it’s impossible to hold the leash because the rope burns the hands.

Excellent lead, however, the handle is unwieldy and uncomfortable to hold. I opted to remove the rubberized handle and instead utilize the loop of the lead, which has improved the overall functionality for me.
