The product turned out to be smaller than I had anticipated, which was my oversight for not checking the dimensions more carefully. While it does absorb water, it doesn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of managing spills from our messy-drinking dog. It serves its purpose for now, but I am still on the lookout for a more effective solution that can better contain the mess.

The product has a foam-rubber texture and was smaller than expected for the food and water fountain. It needs to be weighed down properly as it tends to curl at the corners.

I rated this product slightly lower because it’s a bit shorter in width than I expected. I have to position my water bowl further back to prevent my dogs from dripping water in front of the mat. However, the mat fits the water bowl well; it just needs a bit more space for when the dogs move back and drip. I adore the design – it’s cute and looks great in person. The mat absorbs water effectively and doesn’t show water marks or dirt easily. When it does get a bit dirty, a quick mop over it…

The size is just right for two average dog dishes, don’t expect it to be a large size. I would have preferred it to be bigger. No further comments.
