My dog absolutely adored this toy. She was so eager to play with it that she tried to snatch it back even while it was charging. However, I found that it easily unscrewed and she would constantly manage to remove the top. My dog adored this toy initially, but being a 16 lb mini dachshund, she tends to destroy toys easily. Despite her enjoyment, the cover came off after just a few plays and she chewed through the threads that held it in place. She focused on the hard ball part more than the rope. While I wished it had been more durable or cost-effective, given my dog’s chewing habits, I can’t fault the product entirely. This product is amazing! It’s rechargeable and easy to clean when it gets dirty. I also have a cloth rechargeable toy, but I prefer this one because I don’t have to machine wash the cover. The low beeping noise it makes is not too loud to be bothersome, unlike my other noisy rechargeable toy that jumps around and plays a song. Our 1-year-old miniature dachshund absolutely adores this toy! We’ve had it for nearly a month now, and she plays with it daily. Although she managed to chew up the rope and plastic within 3 days, we easily replaced the rope and found the toy to be surprisingly durable even in its chewed-up state. The first one stopped working, so I bought a second one which is still working well so far. The first one lasted a decent amount of time considering its cost. It’s great for keeping my puppy occupied while I take care of other household tasks. I would recommend it for those starting out with a new puppy.

I own a pit/chihuahua mix who is a super chewer and destroys everything in sight. I don’t leave him alone with this toy because it has a rope that he would definitely rip apart. However, when I do supervise his playtime with it, he really wears himself out!
