I purchased two of these products. Upon opening the package, I gave one to my 55lb dog, but he dropped it and it broke in half. I felt it wasn’t safe to give him the broken piece, so that was disappointing. Then, I gave him the second one and left him to eat it while I made dinner. To my surprise, he finished it in just 15 minutes. I had hoped it would last longer. Now, I’m hoping there won’t be any digestive issues.

Despite some drawbacks, these bones are nearly perfect. They are long-lasting, odorless, and mess-free, with a venison flavor that even my picky dog enjoys. However, the small size of the pieces is concerning. While my dog chewed the bone up well, the knuckles at each end wore down into small, round pieces that posed a choking hazard. The product does not live up to its claim of being long-lasting. My lab finished it in just 2 minutes. I became concerned about the size of the pieces she was breaking off and swallowing, so I decided to discard the remaining portion. The package advises supervising the dog while chewing to prevent them from swallowing large chunks, but I find it challenging to understand how one could effectively prevent this.

I purchased this bone for the dog in my neighborhood who didn’t have any toys to chew on. I wanted to provide her with something to keep her happy, and this bone did the trick. It’s durable and looks like it will last a long time. Overall, a fantastic product at a great price! 😄

Our dog really enjoyed this product. It was interesting to see his reaction to a different flavor compared to the usual chicken or beef treats. He turned out to be a big fan of venison! Just a heads up, this treat is edible and not a long-lasting chew toy like Nylabone products. So, don’t be surprised if your pup starts swallowing pieces while chewing on it!

I had high hopes for this product, especially considering its $8.99 price tag. While my Boxer thoroughly enjoyed it, he managed to demolish it within minutes. It’s not a knock on the flavor – my dog was over the moon, proudly parading and playing with it before quickly finishing it off. I was surprised by how swiftly he went through it. I had hoped it would last longer, maybe a day or two. For the price, I’d say it’s not worth it. I might consider buying it again, but only if it’s priced lower.

Despite being recommended by the vet as durable, the Nylabone we bought for her was devoured in less than 5 minutes. While she clearly enjoyed it, the short lifespan of the toy makes it more of a treat than a lasting chew toy for determined chewers.
