My dog has been enjoying this food for many years. Occasionally, the morsels vary in size and color, but it doesn’t seem to bother my pup. However, upon opening the box containing the 12 lb bag, I noticed a 4″ slice in the bag that appeared to be made by a box cutter rather than scissors. Although my dogs enjoy the flavor of this food, upon reviewing the ingredients, I noticed that it contains chicken meal. I was surprised to find this product listed as chicken-free when searching for alternatives. One of my dogs has experienced skin problems, and our vet suggested that these issues may be related to chicken allergies. My 2-year-old Great Pyrenees absolutely adores this product – it’s the only food she truly enjoys. I have experimented with various brands, but this particular one she devours entirely without leaving anything behind. With other brands, she tends to eat only half and come back to finish it later when there are no other options available. However, with this food, she finishes every last bit with enthusiasm.

I have an older dachshund with several allergies, and after trying many different foods, I finally found one that suits both of my dogs perfectly. They enjoy it without needing any extra treats added to entice them. I highly recommend this food to all pet owners.
