The paint on the bowl starts to come off after a few hand washes. I still use it as an outdoor bowl, but I am worried about my dog ingesting the paint chips. If the issue worsens, I may have to dispose of the bowl.

I purchased the medium-sized 18 oz bowls but was disappointed with their size. They turned out to be smaller than expected and had an unpleasant odor, possibly coming from the thin strip of rubber material on the bottom edge of the bowl. While I appreciate their lightweight design, I believe they are mislabeled as 18 ounces for the medium size. They are not able to hold 18 ounces of food as less than 2 cups fills them to the brim and causes spills.

As soon as I placed these bowls on the floor, it was evident that they did not live up to their advertised slip-resistant claim. They easily slide around my tiled kitchen when my cat interacts with them, due to the smooth rubber ‘grip’ band on the bottom lacking any traction. Our corgi used to constantly flip over our standard food and water bowls, causing a mess around the house. These new bowls are a game-changer – they’re much more difficult for him to pick up and flip, so they stay put where we need them. The sturdy grip on the bottom prevents sliding on the tile floor. We own two dogs, and the older one has a habit of eating out of the younger one’s dish, leading to occasional conflicts.
