I use this product as a topper on my dog’s dry food. I like to mix it with warm water to enhance the aroma and add moisture to their meal. My dogs absolutely love it! Sometimes I use it as a training treat. I make sure to wash my hands after handling it and clean their bowls separately from the household dishes because of the raw ingredients. It is a bit pricey, but my dogs are definitely worth it.

The size, shape, color, smell, freshness, and quality of the large bag did not meet the standards set by the 5oz bags. Due to this discrepancy, I will not be buying the large bag again.

My dog vomited after the first feeding of this product, and then refused to eat it. I am disappointed by the fact that it is non-returnable, especially considering the high price. Even PetSmart allows returns if a dog doesn’t like the food. This experience was costly and I am dissatisfied with the policy.

Although freeze dried food can be costly, I find Nulo to be a more reasonable option compared to others. I mix it with another dog food that contains hard kibble and freeze dried pieces. My dog seems to prefer the Nulo pieces over the rest, even though he enjoys his other food too. The Nulo pieces are large, and even though I could break them in half for my twenty-pound dog, I rarely do so. I appreciate the convenience of not having to add water to the dried pieces.
