My 10-year-old Shih Tzu has been enjoying Nutro Ultra small breed adult food for most of his life, maintaining a shiny and healthy coat. My three Chihuahuas are extremely selective with their food choices and refuse to eat any supermarket dog food. However, they eagerly consume Nutro Senior without hesitation. All three of them enjoy it. A bag of Nutro lasts me several months because they are not big eaters. I usually keep half a bowl of Nutro out for them, and it typically takes them about three days to finish it. I appreciate the freshness seal on the bag.

All of our dogs have been enjoying this food for many years, and their blood work and physical exams have consistently been excellent. We have not experienced any digestive issues, weight problems, or dull coats with this product.

I have tried various foods for my senior dog and found this one to be the best fit for him! He didn’t like Purina Pro Plan or Royal Canin because they contain wheat, corn, and soy, which are not good for Pomeranians. He enjoyed Hill’s Science Diet but seemed to have an allergic reaction to something in it. However, when we stopped using it, his health improved. This food is a great option for senior dogs and suits him well.
On the downside, the pull tab on the packaging is difficult to open….

Our terrier absolutely adores this product, although he is generally not picky. I have rated the “flavor” 5 stars because our dog always finishes every last bit. However, I find the recommended portions to be unclear or potentially misleading. Personally, I believe that the serving size suggested may be too generous. Nonetheless, the quality of the product seems excellent. Our dog enthusiastically approves of it, and his opinion is what truly matters.
