However, the nylon strap that goes around the snout is too short, barely reaching the adjusting buckle and after a few pulls, my dog managed to slide it off the buckle, losing the grip around the snout. I purchased a small muzzle for my 34-pound cattle dog and a medium one for my 45-pound mutt/cattle dog. Unfortunately, the items were poorly made with inconsistent stitching, making it impossible to fit the small size on my dog’s face. The medium size was a struggle to put on my other dog due to a poor fit. Moreover, the buckles and straps are of low quality and struggle to stay secure. I recommend investing a bit more in a muzzle from a reputable brand for better quality.
