I decided to try a different approach with our new rescue dog who is fearful of many things. Instead of using a traditional toothbrush, I used my finger to gently rub her teeth. The product was simple to use – just slip it onto your finger and rub along their teeth. I rotated the wipe to maintain cleanliness and completed the teeth-cleaning process. Our dog didn’t seem bothered by it. While I can’t comment on the taste personally, our dog appeared to be okay with it, and her breath has improved.

I have four dogs, aged between 6 and 10 years old, and weighing from 13 to 68 lbs. I have tried using toothbrushes and dental chews in the past, but found them to be difficult or ineffective. These dental sticks have made the process much easier, and my dogs seem to enjoy the taste and smell. The only downside for me is the size, as I can only fit one knuckle on my index finger. Despite this, I am managing it and will look for a size chart for future purchases.

The dogs enjoy the flavor and find the finger wipes convenient to use. However, the thick plastic packaging is not environmentally friendly as it is not easily recyclable in most communities. I hope the company considers changing the packaging to a more sustainable option. Despite this, the product itself is effective – my dogs’ teeth have improved. While any gauze wipes would do the job, I continue to purchase these due to my dogs’ preference for the taste and to maintain their dental health.
