The wipes are too small, requiring one for each of my tiny 5 lb Chi-Poo’s eyes. With the need to clean my dog’s eyes multiple times a day, these wipes run out quickly and are pricey. While they are effective for cleaning, they don’t lighten or remove stained hair. My vet suggested using hypoallergenic, fragrance-free eye wipes made for babies instead, as they are more cost-effective and come in larger sizes. If they are safe for a baby’s eyes, they should be safe for your dog’s eyes too.

I found these wipes to work really well and they have a pleasant smell. They effectively clean my Persian cat’s eyes, which tend to get very goobery and crusty due to excessive discharge. I even tested them on my own eyes and they felt gentle and refreshing, so I trust using them on my furry friend. I am extremely pleased with these pads for my cat’s eyes. They are thin and moist, and have worked wonders in reducing the constant dripping and crusting in his eye.
