This clicker is quite loud and startled our dog. Our pet trainer recommended a quieter one, which worked perfectly. I was surprised to learn that clickers come in different volume levels and that dogs can be startled by them. Just a heads up in case it doesn’t work for your dog. However, if you have a hard of hearing dog who may benefit from a loud clicker, this could be a good option. I gave it four stars because we prefer the quieter clicker overall. It is a bit more ergonomic.
