The gate was installed by a specialist, it’s not easy for someone without experience. Very functional, but the locking door is quite stiff, they should improve on that. My puppy learned how to use it in a second and is happy. The price is very high. I found it for less than half of what I paid. 😓

This door is very practical if you want your dog to have the freedom to go outside to do his business or play whenever he wants. My dog waits for us to close the human door so he can use the dog door. The only slightly tricky part is removing the cover that closes the door, as it gets stuck with staples and requires some skill to put on and take off.

The plastic flap on this product deteriorates more quickly than a metal one, but it does make it easier for pets to pass through. After 3 years, I experienced an issue where the plastic frame broke on the south side of my house. Living in the desert, the high heat and constant sun exposure made the frame brittle, causing it to break in multiple places as the pets used it. Aside from this, no other issues were encountered. The price is reasonable.

This door is well-made and functional. My only issue is that it is smaller than I anticipated. I have an older dog who weighs 80lbs, and he struggles to fit through the door comfortably. It would have been more suitable for him when he was younger, but now with his arthritis, it’s challenging for him to navigate through. Overall, it’s a good door with no other drawbacks.
