I made a mistake by ordering the large size of these swabs for my dog who is around 50 lbs. They turned out to be too big for his ear canal, so now I have a whole box of swabs that I can’t use. I attempted to make them smaller by mashing them, but they are quite firm and cutting them with scissors made them fall apart, leaving cotton debris in his ears. These ear cleaning products are of high quality and are more appropriate for larger dogs. To illustrate, they are compared to a regular swab for size. Unfortunately, they are not very suitable for my Shih Tzus, but I would definitely consider them if I had a larger dog. Overall, these products are effective and intended for serious use.
