The Puppia Soft Dog Harness is made of 100% Polyester and features an adjustable chest belt and quick-release buckle for easy use. It has a comfortable padded neck opening and is machine washable, but hand washing is recommended. The Medium size fits dogs with a 15″ x 20.5″ Chest Girth and 13″ Neck Girth. To ensure a proper fit, check that two fingers can fit under the harness at the neck and chest. Avoid pulling the leash if your pet tries to slide out of the harness.

We were searching for a harness that wouldn’t cause irritation under our dog’s front legs, unlike other rough strap harnesses that left him raw and uncomfortable. Since our dog needs to wear a harness all the time as he tends to run off, finding this one was a great relief. It features soft materials under the arms and only one strap around his middle, providing comfort and ease for both us and our dog. We hope that it will continue to work well, as our dog seems very comfortable in it so far.

Update: In October 2015, I am realizing the humor in my previous review, which I’ve kept below. I must retract my statement about these harnesses being escape-proof for dogs. Unfortunately, they are not suitable for Miniature Pinschers, as my mischievous pups managed to slip out of them multiple times. This harness just about fits my 10-week-old mini dachshund, and will serve its purpose for now. I had hoped he could grow into it more, but it’s fine for the time being. The material is breathable and the body belt is adjustable, which I appreciate. Overall, I’m pleased with it.

I purchased this harness for my yellow lab who has a form of OCD. The harness is of excellent quality, but I have one issue that led me to give it 4 stars. The plastic connector is attached directly to the fabric on the dog’s right side, which can be slightly uncomfortable for my lab when lying down on that side. I believe a better design would be to have the belt part sewn to each side and the quick connector placed on top. Despite this, I really like the harness and would rate it 4.75…

I have purchased three Puppia harnesses now, and this one is my favorite. I have tried other styles, but this harness combines the best features.
