I have a mixed-breed dog that arrived at 4 months old chewing up the whole house. The Kong toy helps a lot when she’s really in the mood to chew and gets bored of her other toys. This product keeps my dog occupied for a good amount of time, and it has a bitter taste – I even tried it myself! Surprisingly, my dog doesn’t seem to be bothered by the taste. I mix it with Stella’s chicken hearts, which fits perfectly. My Maltese is 15 pounds and a bit overweight, so these treats help them last longer, meaning I don’t have to give him as many.

The product description indicated it was suitable for dogs up to 20 pounds. However, the item was much smaller than expected, making me concerned that my 11-pound dog could potentially choke on it. Despite this sizing issue, the product appeared to be of good quality. Unfortunately, my personal experience with the purchase was disappointing.

I inserted a collagen stick into the Kong toy and our puppy has been happily chewing on it for hours. He grips the Kong with his paws and also chews on it from time to time. The toy has proven to be very durable and has held up well.
