Our 7-month-old German Shepherd loved this food. It is gentle on his puppy digestive system, with lamb as the main ingredient. Although a higher-priced brand was suggested, it was found to be unnecessary. This product is a high-quality equivalent to Farmina at a more affordable price point.

The price is good, but unfortunately my picky dog doesn’t like it. I have to mix it with other dry or wet food for him to eat it. However, the puppies from next door who visit me every day absolutely love it, so I am giving it 4 stars.

I used to feed my dog Beneful dog food, but decided to switch to Purina Pro Plan based on recommendations to mix the two during the transition. After a few tries, I poured the Pro Plan at the bottom and Beneful on top, only to find my dog eating only the Beneful. Despite this, my dog seems to prefer the Pro Plan and hasn’t gotten sick from it. She is a border collie mixed with Australian Shepherd and currently enjoys the new food.

The pricing is reasonable, and I appreciate the convenience of having it on subscription with doorstep delivery. My dogs have maintained healthy weights and thrived on this food. I previously mentioned how beneficial this lamb-based dog food is for border collies with chicken protein allergies. I’d like to recommend enhancing this dog food by adding a raw egg as a topping. Raw eggs provide additional proteins, vitamins, and minerals that may be lacking in the food. I’ve noticed that including a raw egg helped my border collie digest the food better. It’s worth noting that eggs are a different protein source than chicken, so there are no concerns there.
