We have a large male black lab weighing 95-100lbs. After researching sizing options, I decided to purchase both size 4 and 3 in hopes that one would be suitable for muzzle training him at night due to his tendency to bark and disturb our sleep. Unfortunately, there is a significant size difference between 3 and 4. Size 3 was too small and wouldn’t fit properly on his snout, while size 4 had some slack, allowing him to bark through it. The muzzle is well-made, but the fit is crucial.

I am extremely pleased with this product given its price point. It fits my boxer perfectly, which is often a challenge due to their short snouts. Initially, I had planned to order a Large size for my Labrador, but my intuition led me to choose an X-Large instead. This decision turned out to be spot on. The muzzle fits perfectly and doesn’t cause any discomfort to my dog.

The muzzle is great and fits my Collie perfectly, but he can still manage to get it off when he’s off the lead. One thing to note is that the clip fell off the strap, causing me to have to reorder. I plan to stitch a fold in the end of the strap to prevent this from happening again. It would be helpful if the manufacturer considers this issue for future products.

I purchased a size zero muzzle for my Italian Greyhound as a second one, assuming it would fit like my existing size zero muzzle from Four Paws. However, the sizing seemed to have changed as the new muzzle was too small. I tried a size 1 from a local pet store but it was too big. I had to return the muzzle to Amazon and found it challenging due to a potential return fee. It would have been helpful to know about the change in sizing beforehand.
