Initially, this ball seemed to stop working just 9 days after the return window had closed, raising concerns of planned obsolescence. However, a pleasant surprise was in store when I realized that turning the interior mechanism after charging up the ball brought it back to life. It is now functioning perfectly, and I regret the negative review.

It took some time for my pet to figure out how it worked, but once I used the plush coverlet, she really enjoyed it. She would play with it for about an hour, pushing it with her paw to make it move around. It’s funny and intriguing to watch her try to lift the heavy ball into the air.

Although this toy is well-constructed compared to other animated dog toys, my 90 lb. Pitbull showed no interest in it due to the very hard plastic shell. Despite briefly picking it up when it was active, he quickly lost interest and never interacted with it again. The durable shell is a key aspect of its design, but ultimately, if the dog does not engage with it, its other features become irrelevant.

Initially, this ball was ideal for my ball-obsessed mini golden doodle. However, after three days of continuous play and chewing, it has started falling apart. Despite my efforts to secure it, the ball is now difficult to disassemble for charging due to tightening it too much. Additionally, my dog managed to chew off the clear center where the lights operate, leaving noticeable teeth marks on the plastic ball. It seems unlikely that it will withstand much longer with the damage incurred,…

My new puppy is constantly full of energy and wants to play all day long, which is a challenge while I work from home. This toy manages to keep him entertained for around ten minutes each time. Initially, he was scared of it, but now he’s eager to tear it apart. I deducted a star due to the loud noise it makes on my linoleum floors even with the fabric cover. I also have concerns about its durability if I allow him to chew on it for an extended period. Nevertheless, it remains the most…

I mostly dislike this product because it is very difficult to open and the threads do not align properly. I would not recommend it for use on hard floors.

The product works really well and lives up to its advertised features. However, I found the outer shell to be quite hard, which made me concerned about the possibility of it hurting my dog’s teeth when tossed around indoors.

My dog is obsessed with this toy to the point where I have to use treats to trade for it. It’s her absolute favorite thing. I liked it so much that I got another one for my other dog, who is a bit scared of sudden movements and noises. He’s not as excited about it as his sister, so now she likes to “herd” both balls. It’s worth noting that if you have multiple balls, you can control them all with a single remote.
I recommend using this toy only under supervision because after some use, the…
