Although this blanket feels cold to the touch, my bulldog loves her mat and doesn’t overheat easily. I do wish it was a bit thicker, but I resolve this by using double-sided tape to prevent slipping on my wood floors.

The product is very thin, almost like a sheet. It effectively keeps my dog cool. However, it may be too small for pets weighing more than 50lbs.

I bought this product for my dog, but he hardly used it. When he did, it would heat up quickly. I don’t recommend it for large breed dogs. I had a different cooling mat before that maintained its temperature, unlike this one which got hot within minutes. I suggest investing in a product that actually works to keep your pet cool.

Our outdoor cat adores this mat. We have taken in multiple strays and one cat that made our enclosed patio his home. As the weather warms up, he needed a cool place to relax, and this mat fits the bill perfectly. It cools down quickly and is easy to clean – simply toss it in the washer, but remember not to dry it in the tumble dryer, hang it on a clothesline instead.
