The bowls are sturdy and prevent tipping over, allowing my puppies to eat at a slower pace of 15 to 20 minutes. They also stay in place without skidding on the floor. This feeding bowl significantly reduces the speed at which my 8 lb Maltese eats. Previously, she would finish her meal in about 3 minutes, but with this bowl, it now takes her 10-15 minutes. I selected this bowl because she used to eat so quickly that she would vomit occasionally. This is an excellent product as it effectively delays the time it takes for our pets to finish their food. In my case, I have a 35kg dog that I adopted, who used to devour his food in 15 seconds with a regular bowl, but now takes up to 4 minutes with this bowl! The material is very durable and it has a non-slip silicone base that keeps the bowl in place even when the dog is eating messily.
