The headline says it all. The previous one of these I purchased lasted for 3 and a half years. However, the one I received on March 9 ripped in half on May 10 – just 2 months later. It seems that the durability of this current version has significantly decreased compared to the previous one. Even though it’s the same dog and same size, I am beyond disappointed with this product.

Our dog adores this product because of its gentle crackling sound that isn’t too loud. It’s quite durable, which makes it a bit challenging for small puppies to bite. Our own puppy didn’t figure out how to make it crack until he was around 12 weeks old.

This is our third one in 5 years, which speaks to its durability. The material is wonderful as my dog constantly chews on it, and she can be quite rough on toys. The Kong is thick, making her work her jaws more and preventing easy breakage. The stretch of the toy is impressive – it gives during tug-of-war but doesn’t stretch excessively like a rubber band. This toy is definitely a must-have for any dog owner.

I bought two Kong sticks, but unfortunately, only one has held up. The pink crinkle stick lost a 1″ chunk within 15 minutes of play. The red squeaky stick fell apart on the first day, with the plastic squeaker coming out shortly after. On the bright side, the purple crinkle stick has endured playtime well, while the blue squeaky stick lasted a respectable 1-2 years before breaking down. I supervise my dogs when they play with these sticks, as they are not intended for aggressive chewing….

Great game for my boxer, she loves to bite it and the noise it makes stimulates her to play. Unlike other toys that squeak, this one emits a sound like breaking that doesn’t bother her. Plus, Kong toys are super durable.
