Not only is the crease hard to remove, but the sides also tend to curl up, preventing the product from lying flat on the floor. Update: These bowls have proven to be durable and functional even after over 2 years of use. We are extremely satisfied with this purchase. We have incorporated a water bucket from a different brand onto one side and now use the bowls exclusively for food. The water bucket holds more water and the mat helps keep it stable on the floor. Additionally, we are able to attach it inside our dog’s kennel for travel purposes.
