The top handle is not as strong as it appears in the pictures. It almost came off when my German Shepherd jumped, and the adjustment straps do not lock securely in place, they easily slip.

I ordered these harnesses for my two Malinois. Initially, the buckles would come loose, but once I figured out how to fasten them correctly, it wasn’t a problem anymore. My dogs are older and don’t pull much, but occasionally a cat or another dog may appear out of nowhere, and so far, the harnesses have been very durable.

Even though she doesn’t really need to be leashed for a walk, it’s both common sense and the law. This harness is extremely well-made and she took to it instantly, loving to wear it. We gradually got her used to wearing it by having her wear it for 20 minutes a day for a week. I love that there is no more neck yanking with the standard leash, so no more choking sounds when she pulls a bit. Now she can move freely and easily. I am very pleased with this durable and well-made harness.

I followed the sizing recommendations on the size chart, but the fit turned out to be too small. During a walk with my dog, the straps came out of the clips, allowing her to wiggle loose. Considering the issues with the straps and the fact that the “heavy-duty” clips are plastic (two metal, two plastic clips), I hesitated to buy a larger size as it doesn’t seem worth it.
