I installed this on my fence, but I’ve noticed that it has already begun to fade and allows water to seep inside. Consequently, when I dispose of the poop bags weekly on trash day, they end up wet and the inside of the container gets smelly. While it has reduced the presence of maggots compared to when I used a bucket for collecting poop bags, I ultimately feel that it was not worth the investment. So far, I’m happy with this product. I had to improvise a way to hang it on my fence by using some wire since it didn’t come with a hanging mechanism. Despite that, it has stayed closed and is able to hold enough trash for weekly removal, perfect for one dog.

I have a medium/large dog weighing around 70lb, and this product suits us perfectly. Although the trash bin is small, it serves its purpose well. I estimate it can accommodate approximately 10 to 15 large dog waste deposits. Frankly, I can’t imagine needing a larger bin unless you have an excessive amount of dog waste to dispose of. My only reservation about this product is that the wall mounting bracket is made of plastic, which may become brittle and break if exposed to the elements.

The trashcan is easy to attach to outdoor areas, but it is not suitable for outdoor use. Water easily gets inside, making it messy to empty. The filter in the lid does not stay in place and keeps falling into the trashcan, requiring you to retrieve it from among the poop bags. Additionally, it tends to become smelly. Overall, not a recommended purchase.
