We have not tested it in the rain as we have a dedicated raincoat for that purpose. However, it appears to have good water-repelling capabilities. I received the jacket broken, so I returned it. Overall, the quality is comparable to a $50 jacket. It looks like a trash bag, very ugly and cheap.

I find this jacket to be very adorable and of high quality. I purchased the 2XL size for my bully, who has wide shoulders, so while it barely fit him and couldn’t be closed, it was expected. For reference, my bully is around 50lbs. He really enjoyed wearing it, and I agree with others who mentioned that the thick fabric would provide warmth in cold weather.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-made this product is, and it fit my French Bulldog perfectly! My dog has a 16” neck, 22” chest, and 15” length, and the XL size fit well everywhere except the neck due to his thick neck with extra skin. Despite that, it worked great for its intended purpose as a Halloween costume – my dog rocked the Danny Zuko look from Grease. We even used it for a fun photoshoot (see picture). Just a heads up, the hair is not included!
