The product is great, but I received a US power supply despite shipping to Australia. There was no option to choose or specify the power supply type. Other than that, the product seems okay.

I purchased this product to help manage my three cats’ weight after discovering they were overweight. My vet recommended portion control, and after researching, I found this feeder. It allows me to set specific portion sizes up to 6 times a day using the app. I can customize feeding times and even include a recorded message for each meal. The feeder has trained my cats to respond to the sound, ensuring they don’t miss a meal. The app notifies me of each feeding, and I can check on them via…

I recently bought the feeder and successfully connected it to my wifi network. Setting up the feeder was easy and straightforward. However, I discovered that I can only connect to the feeder when I’m on the same wifi network as it. This limitation means I can’t access the feeder remotely when I’m away from home. I’m questioning the purpose of having a wifi-enabled feeder if it can only be accessed while I’m at home.

I liked the product, but I believe it is missing an essential feature, which is the ability to see when my pet is actually eating. A notification when my pet approaches the device would be helpful. While I appreciate the camera function, being able to see it in action when my pet is there is ideal. It can be challenging to catch the right moment without a motion notification, or specifically knowing when my pet is right by the device.

I have been using this feeder for almost 4 years now (since December 2019) and have been really happy with it! It has been reliable, always dispensing food on time, and has helped keep my cat satisfied. Here are some pros and cons to keep in mind:

Our previous automatic pet feeder relied on a cloud-based system, which became obsolete when the vendor closed down and turned off their servers. Concerned about security breaches in web-connected devices, we opted for this self-contained automatic feeder.
No need for a phone app or internet connection, setting up feed times and portions using the built-in timer was as simple as programming a VCR. Clear instructions are provided for those unfamiliar with this process.
