I decided to give Zesty Paws a try for my dog after hearing so much praise about this brand. Despite the positive reviews from other dog owners and veterinarians, unfortunately, my dog did not enjoy it. As a result, I ended up using it in a cake that I made for him to avoid wasting it. I appreciate that it comes in a small trial-sized package.

These training treats are excellent. I use them for my older dog who is intelligent and motivated by treats. I personally find them a bit smelly, so I prefer to keep them in a small baggie rather than my treat pouch. Since my dog is only 16 lbs, I appreciate that these treats are smaller in size.

My dog enjoyed these treats and the concept is great. However, to be honest, they kept getting stuck in her throat which caused difficulty in swallowing. I observed a few instances where I had to massage her throat and she drank a significant amount of water. It’s important not to give too many treats in quick succession as it impairs the effectiveness during training sessions.
